| DESCRIPTION | In 1955 a group of philatelists with a keen interest in map stamps started the CartoPhilatelic Society. The society was formed to promote the collection and study of stamps relating to maps and cartography. It was recently reorganized after being dormant for a few years. It is quite a milestone indeed and we have a number of interesting things planned for our 50th year! Come and join us! |
