| DESCRIPTION | The Philadelphia Map Society (TPMS) convenes on the final Wednesday evening of alternate months to examine maps in a Philadelphia-area archive, followed by a long-table dinner at which the speaker is our guest. As a region blessed with deep and substantial archival collections, we often meet on weekends for special tours. TPMS, established in 2011, revived the long dormant Delaware Valley Map Society. Members include historians, archivists, avid map researchers and collectors. |
