Hensinger Leaves BCR

James Speed Hensinger, manager of Internet & Database Services (IDS), will be leaving BCR after 23 years of service. The IDS program he headed has been combined with the Bibliographic Systems & Services program. The two programs now make up BCR's new Member Services division under the management of Rosario Garza.

Hensinger joined BCR in 1979 as an OCLC system specialist. He later was named manager of Microcomputer Systems & Services (MS&S), which was then expanded into IDS, incorporating BCR's Internet and reference services as well as hardware and software purchases and technical support.
