SilverPlatter New Products and Discounts
SilverPlatter recently released Elsevier's Evidence Based Medicine (EMBASE) database on both CD- ROM format and the Internet. Providing access to proven clinical information for use in treating patients and diagnosing ailments, the database includes more than 400,000 records from journals, papers and conference proceedings. It is updated quarterly and is SilverLinker-enabled.

Current FSTA SilverPlatter customers can now receive access to the Food and Nutrition Internet Index (FNII) prepared by IFIS free of charge. FNII is a fully searchable Web site which describes and indexes the most important food and nutrition resources available on the Internet. Each Internet site is evaluated for relevance and content before being included in the index.

Only those libraries using scripted access are affected. Additional information can be viewed at www.oclc.org/oclc/fs_new/webscript.htm.
